• HOW IT WORKS?

  Humalog Insulin Lispro is a form of fast acting insulin created by genetic engineering. It is similar in structure to naturally occuring human insulin.The small modifications in structure give the Lispro a rapid absoption and shorter delay of onset compared to naturally occuring insulin. It starts to work about 15 minutes after injection, achieving peak blood levels 30-70 minutes after, and lasts about 2-5 hours. It should be taken 15 minutes before your meal and if necessary, may be taken after a meal within 20 minutes of starting.

• DOSAGE

  You should start your dose within 15 minutes of the beginning of your meal or within 20 minutes after. It is highly recommended that you change or rotate the injection site you choose.
